气门是用耐热高合金钢制造的,同时利用各种方法和各种堆焊材料对其工作表面堆焊耐热耐磨合金。苏联伏尔加汽车厂用冷凝法在自动线上实现了内燃机排气门的堆焊。 以伊·奥·巴托恩(E·O·ЛamoH)命名的电焊研究所研究出的堆焊方法的实质是:利用感应加热熔化合金圈,并预热气门毛坯到一定温度,以保证工件同合金随着熔焊层的定向结晶作用而焊成一体。熔焊层的结晶靠加热的同时在工件下面进行较强的冷却(见图1)。 气门的主体金属是含氮钢ЭП303(21—4N)。堆焊用以Ni—Cr—B—Si为基体的ЭП616A(NiCr26Si2B2)合金圈,该圈是用砂型铸造的方法而得到的。
