以标准地内109株白桦的每木检尺数据为基础,计算出单木的树高与胸径之比得出相应系数,即高径比,再乘以各径级平均胸径的方法得出理论平均高,并与真实林分各径级平均高相比较,作出误差分析。结果显示:(1)高径比的大小与胸径呈反比,随着胸径的逐渐增大,高径比逐渐减小;随着树高的增加,高径比的波动程度趋于平缓,逐渐接近一个固定常数(2)当径级范围在8.0~8.99cm时,平均相对误差值及标准差值最小,分别为0.11%、0.33,其他径级的误差值和标准差值依次为:0.32%、0.69(径级7.5cm),0.43%、0.75(径级6.5cm),0.46%、0.71(径级9.5cm),0.65%、0.85(径级5.5cm),0.82%、0.88(径级10.5cm)。因此,在林木测算中,利用高径比指标在平均胸径易测的情况下可以对林分的平均高做出较为准确的估算,并用于二者的相互检验。还可根据不同的经营目的,人为控制高径比的变化来获取最佳效益。
