2003年,上海港集装箱吞吐量达到1128万箱,仅次于香港地区和新加坡,跃居世界集装箱第三大港,上海国际航运中心的地位日渐凸显。 随着长三角以至整个长江流域腹地经济的不断发展,上海今后的集装箱吞吐量必将不断增加。目前,上海港有80%的集装箱运输,是通过公路运输方式完成的,从而给本已十分繁忙的公路带来很大压力。 上海有2100公里内河航道,在不久的将来,快捷、环保、低价的内河集装箱船运输,必将成为上海货物运输的主力军。
In 2003, Shanghai container throughput reached 11.28 million cases, second only to Hong Kong and Singapore, ranking the third largest container port in the world, the status of Shanghai International Shipping Center has become increasingly prominent. With the constant economic development in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta and the entire Yangtze River, Shanghai’s container throughput will surely increase. At present, 80% of the container traffic in Shanghai Port is completed by road transport, putting a lot of pressure on the already busy road. Shanghai has 2,100 km of inland waterway. In the near future, fast, environmentally-friendly and low-cost container river container shipping will surely become the main force in Shanghai’s cargo transportation.
