语料库语言学视角下的短语学研究认为短语是语言的意义单位,而这个单位是否可以与翻译单位重合是基于语料库的翻译研究的重要议题。本研究采用基于语料库的配价结构描述体系(甄凤超、杨枫2015),以动词CONSIDER为例,分析英汉平行语料库中该动词的配价结构及其对应的汉译,试图找到理想的英汉翻译单位。数据分析显示,尽管会因英汉语言之间的差异而造成原文和译文在配价结构上稍微的不同,CONSIDER在英语源语及对应汉译中的配价结构基本是匹配的。另外,CONSIDER的配价结构实际上是它的句法结构限制,这种限制能够区分它的不同语义,另外也影响到它的汉译。基于此,我们得出结论,词语及其配价结构共同构成理想的翻译单位,对于我们准确理解语言的意义和指导翻译实践都有重要参考价值。 Phonetic linguistics perspective on the study of the phrase that the phrase is the unit of meaning of language, and whether this unit can be overlapped with the translation unit is an important issue of corpus-based translation studies. This study uses a corpus-based valence structure description system (Zhenfeng Feng and Yang Feng 2015). Taking the verb CONSIDER as an example, this paper analyzes the valence structure of the verb in Chinese-English parallel corpus and its corresponding Chinese translation, trying to find the ideal English-Chinese translation unit . Data analysis shows that CONSIDER basically matches the valence structure in English source language and corresponding Chinese translation, though the original text and translation may be slightly different in valence structure due to the differences between English and Chinese languages. In addition, CONSIDER’s valence structure is actually its syntactic structure, which limits its different semantics and affects its Chinese translation. Based on this, we conclude that words and their valence structures together constitute the ideal unit of translation, which is of important reference value for us to accurately understand the meaning of language and guide the practice of translation.
