Er~(3+)/Yb~(3+)共掺双包层光纤激光器谱组束实验研究

报道了利用放置在外腔中的闪耀光栅实现两个不同长度Er~(3+)/Yb~(3+)共掺双包层光纤(EYDF)激光器谱组束的实验。外腔由两个二色镜和一个共用的部分反射镜构成,增益介质为EYDF,外腔中的变换透镜可将光纤输出端按角度定位到闪耀光栅上,闪耀光栅实现光纤激光器的模式选择。实验进行了单个EYDF激光器的调谐,在1532~1568 nm范围内获得了稳定的单模输出,激光3 dB线宽均小于0.08 nm,调谐范围约为36 nm,接近Er~(3+)的增益带宽。实现了两根长度分别为6 m和8 m的EYDF激光器的谱组束,在入纤抽运功率分别为2.6 W和4 W的条件下,获得了480 mW的谱组束输出。 The experiment of using two blazed gratings placed in an external cavity to realize the beam combination of Er 3+ / Yb 3+ codoped double clad fiber (EYDF) laser was reported. The external cavity consists of two dichroic mirrors and a common partial mirror. The gain medium is EYDF. A translating lens in the external cavity positions the fiber output angled to the blazed grating. The blazed grating provides the mode selection for the fiber laser. A single EYDF laser was tuned and a stable single-mode output was obtained in the range of 1532 ~ 1568 nm. The 3 dB linewidth of the laser was less than 0.08 nm and the tuning range was about 36 nm, which was close to the gain of Er ~ (3+) bandwidth. The spectral bundle of two EYDF lasers with length of 6 m and 8 m were realized. The spectral output of 480 mW was obtained under the conditions of 2.6 W and 4 W input fiber pumping power respectively.
