班主任是学校学生管理工作的骨干力量,其作用是其他人不能取代的。班主任是学生效仿、学习的对象,其一言一行都会给学生留下深刻的印象,对学生的思想行为产生潜移默化的影响。而处在十七八岁特殊年龄阶段的学生,精力充沛,追求时尚,兴趣广泛,心理的自我调节能力、对事物的认知能力、行为的自控能力还不成熟;同时,学生品德的形成还受到社会、家庭的影响。这些都给新时期班主任工作增加了困难,提出了新的挑战。这就需要我们在实践中去探索、总结行之有效的方法和经验,使班主任管理工作不断跃上新台阶。
