后现代思潮是西方后现代阶段的产物 ,它在 90年代的中国也曾产生过很大影响 ,其意义不可低估。但是 ,本时期的中国思想文化界对这一思潮往往有两种极端的态度 ,或是将它视为“精神垃圾” ,或是对它不适当地照搬。本文力图将后现代思潮置于特定的文化和思想环境中 ,通过对它的起源、理论及其影响的分析 ,来评价其意义 ,既强调了它与西方现代思想文化状况的特定联系 ,又指出了它的普遍价值 Postmodernism is the product of the postmodern phase of the West. It also had a great influence on China in the 1990s and its significance can not be underestimated. However, the Chinese ideological and cultural circles in this period often have two extreme attitudes towards this trend of thought, either treating it as “mental junk” or inappropriately copying it.
