近些年来,国人学习英语热情高涨,“中式英语”也应运而生引起了国际范围的广泛关注。小学英语教师作为学生的启蒙教师对其一生的英语学习都起着至关重要的作用。可以说,小学英语教师肩负着改善国人“中式英语”的现状、提升国人英语综合素养的重任。我国小学英语的教材主要是中国人编写的,虽然它们都是凝结了许多编者心血的优秀教材,但难免会缺少了英语原版素材的原汁原味。近年来,越来越多的小学英语教师开始将英文原版绘本引入课堂用以辅助传统的教科书进行英语授课,绘本独特的趣味性深受小学生的喜爱。这些英语原版绘本不仅给学生带来了全新的学习体验,它们也蕴含了许多国外的优秀文化知识。因此,对英文原版绘本在小学英语教学中文化作用的研究对现阶段小学英语教学具有十分重要的借鉴价值。
In recent years, there has been a great deal of enthusiasm in English learning in China and “Chinese-English” has also aroused widespread concern in the international arena. Primary English teachers as students’ enlightened teachers play an important role in their English study all their life. It can be said that primary English teachers are shouldering the responsibility of improving the status quo of “Chinese English” and enhancing the comprehensive literacy of Chinese. The textbooks of primary school English in our country are mainly written by Chinese. Although they are excellent textbooks that have condensed many editors’ efforts, they will inevitably lack the authenticity of English original texts. In recent years, more and more elementary English teachers have begun to introduce English original graphic books into the classroom to assist traditional textbooks in teaching English. The unique taste of the notebook is deeply loved by elementary students. These English original graphic books not only bring new learning experience to students, but also contain many excellent foreign cultural knowledge. Therefore, the study of the cultural function of English original picture book in primary English teaching has very important reference value for primary English teaching at this stage.
