我们实验室气垫导轨原用的气源是空气压缩机(一台三气缸3W09/7和两台两气缸2 V06/7),仅能供八套气轨用气, 1988年初实验室搬迁到闵行校区,由于设计气泵室肘考虑不周,出现了不少问题,如气泵室设置在物理楼底层,不仅无通风条件,使室内聚积的热量无法散开,而且三台空气压缩机发出的噪声震耳,污染周围环境,影响正常工作。此外,耗电甚大,若调换零件,修理费昂贵,维护工作量也不小;同时虽然它的气压较大,但风量不够,经分析气轨所需的压力不一定要这样大,而风量却要求大些为好。所以用空气压缩机作为气源弊端不少,必须设法改进。
