当我们所研究的系统内部各物体之间的相互作用比较复杂,而系统内的物体与外界的相互作用比较简单时,可以整体揭示事物的本质和变化规律,而不必追究系统内各物体的相互作用和每个运动阶段的细节,把系统当做一个整体进行研究,从而避开中间量的烦琐计算,从而巧妙简捷地解决问题.只关心过程的始、末状态(不关心过程的细节)时,可以把具有不同特点的几个物理过程组合成一个过程进行研究,这种把多个物体或多个过程作为一个整体进行研究的思维方法叫做整体法.
