Tourism serves as an important platform for cross-cultural communication,and the adequate translation related to the tourist attraction lays a solid foundation for that platform.It is held that several approaches,including proper understanding of both the source and target language,achieving functional equivalence,and being reader-oriented,which may help achieve better effects in rendering the cultural connotations of the tourist attractions.In the ease study of Lingnan Shuixiang,the sense of intercultural communication paves the way for better translating the names of the scenic spots in the waterside village.
