在北京即将入冬之际,中国的网络游戏产业迎来一个“小阳春”,在首届中国国际网络文化博览会上,网络游戏成了一个追捧的热点。文化部文化市场司司长刘玉珠不无夸赞地宣称,到去年中国网络游戏的市场收入已经超过了电影票房收入,2002年电讯业务由网络游戏所产生的直接收入是68.3亿元。而互联网专家则认为,网络游戏带动的相关产业的产值也已达到了上百亿元人民币。
In the coming winter in Beijing, China’s online game industry ushered in a “small spring”, in the first China International Internet Culture Expo, online games has become a sought after hot spot. Liu Yuzhu, director of the Cultural Market Division of the Ministry of Culture, praised unequivocally that by last year the market revenue of online game in China had exceeded the box office receipts of movies. In 2002, the direct revenue generated by online games from telecommunications business was 6.83 billion yuan. Internet experts believe that the output value of related industries driven by online games has reached tens of billions of yuan.
