L型往复式压缩机具有体积小、重量轻、结构紧凑等优点,故在我国中、小型化肥厂中运用较为广泛。但这种压缩机的滑道往往都和机身铸成一体,滑道磨损后,维修时不能根据实际磨损程度给予适当修复,这是设计上的先夭不足所造成。尽管机体采用了高强度铸铁HT21-40,但滑道的磨损仍很严重,这样影响了十字头与滑道的配合精度(原间隙为0.18~0.25mm),造成了压缩机运转时振动厉害、噪音大的弊病。这种弊病对于卧式滑道来说,较立式滑道更为突出。
