随着国民经济的不断发展,大学教育的不断创新,越来越多大学英语教师开始关注和重视建构主义理论在课堂教学中的应用。当前大学英语教学课堂存在学生英语基础薄弱、缺乏学习动机,教师教学方式单一、缺乏交流互动等问题,英语教师要想打破现状,充分调动起学生的学习积极性和主动性,就必须基于建构主义理论展开教学,引导学生自主利用相关资料进行学习,帮助学生在课堂上创建出良好的学习情境,促使学生参与到各种学习活动中,提高自身的英语实践应用能力。
