In the 1930s, a slightly revised version of the TED was translated into English and immediately aroused strong and very commendable attention from the Anglo-American economists. The book emphasizes that continuous innovation is the most important feature of the capitalist economy, which is completely different from the then standard textbooks, which made Schumpeter’s view quite influential at the time, and later dominated especially in the United States and Britain Strictly separate the neoclassical economics.
