模数转换器(ADC)是连接模拟世界与数字世界的桥梁。电子ADC由于受到载流子迁移速率的限制,难以满足系统不断增长的带宽和精度要求,因此能够实现宽带信号高速高精度数字化的光学ADC近年来成为了研究热点。本文回顾了近十年来国内外关于光学ADC的研究工作,重点介绍了光辅助ADC和光采样电量化ADC在提升采样速率和量化精度方面的研究进展。
An analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is a bridge connecting the analog world to the digital world. Due to the limitation of carrier mobility, it is difficult to meet the increasing bandwidth and accuracy requirements of electronic systems. Therefore, optical ADCs capable of high-speed and high-precision digitization of wideband signals have become a research hotspot in recent years. This paper reviews the domestic and international research on optical ADCs in the past decade and highlights the research progress of optical-assisted ADCs and optical sampling electric-power ADCs in improving the sampling rate and quantization accuracy.
