“日本文化论”研究始自江户时代末期,迄今已有约一个半世纪的历史了。有关于它的学术探讨,经常会对社会思潮产生重大影响。尤其是在日本进入重大历史阶段、社会转型期或发生重大历史事件之时,关于它的探讨都会在质与量两方面集中爆发。二战后,日本文化论的探讨随着教育的普及在更广的范围内呈展开来。但囿于时代背景的不同,每一时期日本文化论的基调、性质、特征也不尽相同。
The study of “Japanese Culture Theory” began at the end of the Edo Period and so far has been about a century and a half of history. Academic discussions about it often have a major impact on social trends. Especially when Japan entered a major historical stage, a period of social transition, or a major historic event, the discussions on it would focus on both quality and quantity. After World War II, the discussion of Japanese cultural theory started with the popularization of education in a broader context. However, due to the different backgrounds of the times, the tone, nature and characteristics of Japanese cultural theory in each period are also different.
