Remote sensing is a non-contact measurement from a distance. The remote sensing technology introduced in this paper mainly refers to the non-contact measurement of the Earth’s surface and its environment from satellites and spacecraft. Although less than 20 years have passed since the development of remote sensing technology, rapid progress has been made in the field of remote sensing, which has received universal attention. At the first remote sensing conference held in the United States in 1962, there were only 70 participants in one country. By the eighth session in 1972, nearly 2,000 representatives from many countries attended the conference. At the Ninth Session in 1974, there were three Proceedings of the Conference which included hundreds of reports. Space-borne remote sensing technology, like cutting-edge weapons, has become a tool for the two superpowers in the Soviet Union and the United States to win over the world and expand abroad. Two
