Women with gestational diabetes have the potential to develop pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH) after pregnancy and are 2-4 times more likely to develop PIH than women without diabetes. Clinical observation found that women with different degrees of glucose metabolism during pregnancy than women without the risk of pregnancy-induced hypertension also have a high incidence of PIH.
