北京京剧团赴港演出团,在团长萨空了、副团长薛恩厚率领下,4月26日抵达香港,受到了香港各界人士的热烈欢迎。演出团一行八十五人,由七十四岁高龄的著名京剧表演艺术家姜妙香担任演出顾问。团员包括在我国京剧艺坛上久享盛名的马连良、张君秋、裘盛戎、赵燕侠、马富禄以及许多优秀的青年演员。同马连良合作多年的著名琴师李慕良也随团赴港。4月30日晚,演出团举行了首场
The Beijing Opera Troupe went to Hong Kong to perform in Hong Kong. It was led by Sanken, head of the delegation, and headed by Deputy Secretary of State Xue En-thick. It arrived in Hong Kong on April 26 and was warmly welcomed by people from all walks of life in Hong Kong. A string of 85 performance troupes entertained performance artist Jiang Miaoxiang, a 74-year-old famous Beijing opera artist. Members include Ma Lianliang, Zhang Junqiu, Qiu Shengrong, Zhao Yanxia, Ma Furei and many outstanding young performers who have enjoyed great fame in Peking Opera art circles.
