Pyrite Ore is a complex complex of copper, zinc and iron. Although the content of non-ferrous metals is not high, sorting them into independent concentrates can improve the industrial value and comprehensive utilization of ores. Ore is generally preferential flotation and priority - mixed flotation process sorting. The sorting process includes regrinding coarse ore and medium ore to a particle size of -80 microns or -40 microns to reach 100%. When the ore is finely ground, the flotation activity of the finely ground pyrite can be increased. However, fine grinding causes additional difficulties in processing the ore. In order to obtain a qualified concentrate, the selection process needs to be expanded. Taking a pyrite ore with a copper content of 0.18% in a polymetallic deposit as an example, it is pointed out that high quality copper concentrate can be obtained under the semi-industrial test using backwater and electrochemical purification of water.
