本文主要研究美国著名的小说家杰克.伦敦众多优秀作品中的《马丁.伊登》。此书主要围绕主人公马丁.伊登的一生展开,整篇故事就是关于马丁的一部英雄史诗。作者主要通过他特有的写作风格以独白和对话的方式生动刻画了主人公。探求促使马丁奋斗和导致他最终自杀身亡的主要因素——爱情,同时讨论他的爱情观和他从一名水手奋斗成为知名作家的过程,最终揭示他取得成功之后的困惑。
This article mainly studies “Martin Eden” among many outstanding works of famous American novelist Jack London. The book mainly around the protagonist Martin Eden’s life, the entire story is about Martin’s heroic epic. Through his unique writing style, the author vividly portrays the protagonist through soliloquy and dialogue. Exploring the main factor that prompted Martin to fight and lead to his ultimate suicide - love, discussing his love outlook and his struggle with a sailor to become a well-known writer ultimately revealed his confusion after his success.
