CNES, France, recently added a new tracking station network using the 2 GHz band because of the use of a particularly crowded, very high frequency (140 MHz) in the original station network. The 2 GHz band has been adopted by NASA in the United States so that the tracking network in the United States and France can be networked. Networking trials of the new tracking network have begun and the results show complete freedom of correspondence between the French Toulouse Center for Space and the U.S. Goddard Space Center. Networking trials are primarily the exchange of satellite telemetry, remote control and location simulation data between the two space-tracking networks. For this reason, two digital computers located at the edge of the network will send out the same information as received at one of the receiving stations in the future in the United States or France. This network will be the first in the world to exchange spatial information
