Soviet post-war animation films have made great achievements in the creation. In the past there was a time when most animations were appealing, not so much because of the content of the films, but rather because of the variety of activities that were possible with the drawn-up characters. And now the finest animated works use very vivid images to deal with topics of importance and interest to the children’s audience. Animation has become a unique and fully privileged form of realist Soviet cinema art. There is a qualitative difference between cartoons and other forms of the movie. It can not show the spiritual life of the character in detail, and can not represent the concrete scene in a very concrete way. But it also has its own advantages. It allows the artist to be free to highlight, emphasize and try to exaggerate the image of the important features. In addition, it not only reflects what has come directly from reality, but also reflects what exists only in the artist’s illusions.
