“让学生在生动具体的情境中学习”是新课标的一大特点,也是我们努力追求的目标之一。教育心理学告诉我们,只有学生感兴趣的东西,学生才会积极地开动脑筋认真思考,并以简捷、有效的方法去获得必要的知识。要使学生在一节课的时间里始终保持高昂的学习状态,教师就要根据不同的教学内容创设各种情境,不断引导学生的思维在各种乐趣中转移,从而调动学生学习语言的积极性,培养他们学习语言的浓厚兴趣。如今新教材的优点之一就是许多知识的引入和问题的提出、解决都在一定的情境中展开,教材独特的编排体系便于我们运用情境教学为学生创设一种学习英语的环境,使英语课堂教学形象化、趣味化,为学生提供了尽可能多的英语练习的可能,激发他们的兴趣,使他们在轻松、愉快的氛围中学习。有效的教学情境的创设,能够提高学生的英语表达能力,大大提高英语课堂教学效率。
