蒿坪金矿产于下古生界二郎坪群大庙组底部碳硅质板岩及碳质云母石英片岩中,受层间断裂控制。矿化类型为石英脉型及构造蚀变岩型,矿化是在中温(285°C)、弱还原、弱碱性、高盐度条件下进行的。该矿床是早古生代末期初始富集、中生代末期定位成矿的以变质热液为主又有岩浆热液参与的复合成因金矿。
Artemisia gold deposit is produced in the carbon siliceous slate and carbonaceous mica-quartz schist at the bottom of Dalang Formation of Erlangping Group in the Lower Paleozoic and is controlled by interlayer faults. The mineralization types are quartz vein type and tectonic altered rock type. Mineralization is carried out at medium temperature (285 ° C), weak reduction, weakly alkaline and high salinity. This deposit was originally formed in the late Early Paleozoic and was mainly composed of metamorphic hydrothermal fluids and complex magmatic hydrothermal gold deposits with the hydrothermal fluid located in the late Mesozoic.
