I am the first batch of community full-time workers openly recruited by the public in Beijing. Two months into the community, I feel a lot of emotion. Originally, I was working at a local people’s congress and joined the ranks of full-time workers in the community just because I was able to catch up with the opportunity after the separation of the two places to Beijing. The community is new to me and I am also a new face to residents. The first is the difference in age. In the past, most of the members of the neighborhood committee were old aunt. Beijingers called “small leagues.” I was only 31 years old. To be honest, in the community where the elderly are mostly on weekdays, I was really young and when I first went there was a resident Face to ask me, “We like to deal with young people, but you young people like to deal with the elderly? People are old, legs and feet are not flexible, the response is slow, all aspects and young people are some gaps.” When I frankly expressed my point of view, the residents immediately said happily: “Then we can rest assured.” Yes, the ancients still know “the old and the old”, let alone those of us who are full-time workers in the community of modern society! Besides people from young to old age, this is a natural law. Today’s aunt, is not that 20 years, 30 years after me?
