一提到“听写”这个词,大多数EFL(英语作为外语,下同)实践教师的反应往往是皱眉头,认为这是跟交际性语言教学背道而驰的“老式活动”,应该否定.记下教师说出的词语哪谈得上什么创造性的活动呢?专门讲听写的书籍少如凤毛麟角,这也证明现今这项技术不受欢迎.那些自认采用听写技术的教师常常利用现成教课书某篇课文的一部分,在一堂课结束前,课文要点讲完了,发现时间还有多,这时就用听写填补空档.听写这个教学技术向来为人们所低估.我要在本文中考察学生实际上所犯的错误,并就怎样使听写成为教学计划的一部分以及什么样的文章适宜作为听写的短文提出建议,以此为听写作辩护.
