北美中国音乐研究会今秋起在芝加哥开展中国乐器的正规教学。课程除安排具有代表性的中国乐器笙、二胡及阮、柳琴的教学外,并教授中国音乐理论。美、加各地的中国乐器学习者还将有机会参加一年数次的大师班。北美中国音乐研究会今年6～12月还计划在芝加哥Field自然科学历史博物馆举办十余场演出。在每场演出中还将向听众介绍中国管弦乐团的四组乐器(拉弦、弹拨、吹管和打击)。
North American Chinese Music Research Association this fall in Chicago to carry out the formal teaching of Chinese instruments. In addition to arranging the representative Chinese musical instrument Sheng, Erhu, Nguyen and Liu Qin, the course also teaches Chinese musical theory. Chinese music learners in the United States and Canada will also have the chance to attend master classes several times a year. The North American Chinese Music Research Society also plans to hold more than ten performances at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago from June to December this year. In each performance, four sets of instruments of the Chinese Orchestra will be introduced to the audience (string pulling, plucking, blowing and blow).
