俄罗斯科研人员研制了一种可以“看清”地下物体的无线电探测器.地面勘测和施工人员可借助它发现地下电缆、管道等设施及其维护状况等多种信息.探测器由两个配有天线、可在地面移动的滑雪板和接收机组成.其中一个滑雪板上的天线中装有发射机,另一个滑雪板上的接收天线里配有信号放大器,放大器通过电缆与无线电探测器的接收机相连,接收机可挂在操作人员的脖子上.操作人员一边踏着滑雪板行走,一边可在接收机的液晶显示屏上看见所到之处的地下结构断面图.探测数据和结果保存在探测器的存储器里,存储器可容纳4兆比特的信息量.必要时可将存储数据输入外部的电脑供进一步分析.
