现在,河池市新的奋斗目标已成共识,即把河池建成西南水电之都和广西实施国家“西电东送”重要清洁能源基地;以电力带动相关产业,形成广西最大的电矿结合生产、加工基地;依托龙头企业带动,建成桂西北山地绿色食品加工、中草药生产加工基地;加快城市建设步伐,把河池市建成桂西北政治、经济、文化中心,力争通过5至10年的不懈努力,让河池成为山水园林城市和西南出海通道上具有现代文明的明星城市。
