Elizabeth Bishop is one of the most important female poets of the 20th century in the United States. For her slightly mysterious life experience and confusing poetry, critics always try to compare with other poets, or split and reorganization. Starting with Bishop’s reading of Darwin’s feelings, the article analyzes the inspiration and creation process of Bishop’s poetry and finds her poetry is an organic whole of art. On the surface, it is like a realistic painting with vivid details, but after reading it carefully, poetry is more like surrealism, impressionistic paintings, strange strange images, magnificent natural landscapes and amazing animals. It is Bishop’s poetry Unique innovation. At the moment of epiphany, the combination of the three poems, the poets and the readers produces the extremely strong poetic effect and enhances the unity of the poetic art.
