OTC药品作为柜台销售药,具有应用安全、疗效确切、质量稳定、使用方便等优点,但同时也存在着不同程度的副作用和不良反应。近十年来,笔者通过对国家公布的第一批非处方药中25种药品的不良反应报道的统计分析,发现因使用OTC药品而导致的过敏反应是药物不良反应的主要方面,其次是对肝肾及心脏的影响及导致白细胞减少。因此,为确保非处方药使用时的安全可靠性,药师对病人应当注意询问病史及是否有过敏史,做好非处方药的销售咨询指导工作。
