国外研究者已在一些浅海和半深海区发现了自生铁锰碳酸盐矿物系列,近年来在我国沿海特别是南海(如北部湾、三亚湾及南海陆架等处)也相继找到了此类矿物。铁锰碳酸盐的丰度往往很低,化学成分变化又较大,但对它的研究有助于阐明铁、锰元素在海洋中的地球化学行为,并为了解沉积物形成的相环境提供重要信息。本文将对海南岛最南端三亚湾(东经109°21′—北纬18°10′)内的这类矿物的特征、分布、成因等问题作一论述。
Foreign researchers have found some series of iron and manganese carbonate minerals in shallow sea and semi-deep sea areas. In recent years, such minerals have also been found in China’s coastal areas, especially in the South China Sea (such as Beibu Bay, Sanya Bay and South China Sea Shelf) . The abundance of Fe-Mn carbonate is often low and its chemical composition changes greatly. However, its research will help clarify the geochemical behavior of iron and manganese in the oceans, and provide an insight into the phase environment of sediment formation Important information. This article will discuss the characteristics, distribution and genesis of such minerals in Sanya Bay, the southernmost tip of Hainan Island (longitude 109o 21’N 18o 10’E).
