公众演示展尖端技术风采其实早在1997年,杨明就开始将智能车作为自己的一个研究方向,与学生参加比赛的小小智能车不同,他所从事的是一项面向未来的尖端技术。2003年,他获得清华大学计算机系博士学位,前往法国国家信息与自动化研究所(INRIA)从事了两年博士后研究,并参加了欧盟第五框架大型无人驾驶汽车研究项目——CyberCars项目的研究工作。这些科研经历让杨明更加看重学术与公众演示的结合。回到国内后,除了在学术期刊上发表大量高水平论文之外,杨明着手在实验室里开展智能车技术的公众演示活动。他在上海交
