“Long Day Night” is Eugene O’Neill’s autobiography with the same name. It is the greatest drama in the 20th century, and represents “soul drama” that reflects the hero’s struggles and pains. This article attempts to analyze the reasons for the last choice of drug abuse from the perspective of gaze theory.
