有人曾就这样一个问题做过一次调查:你知道文化馆吗?文化馆是做什么的?不同年龄段的人做出了不同的回答。老年人说:“文化馆是文化教员,我在那里识过字,学过歌……”中年人说:“我上中小学的时候,在文化馆看过电影.猜过谜语,也看见过不少老人在文化馆里听戏、下棋……”青年人说:“文化馆是什么?噢,对了,文化馆是音像制品商店,是蓝宝石歌厅,是粤菜馆……”文化馆在老年人的脑海中是一段美好的回忆,在中年人的记忆里是老人、儿童娱乐的场所,在青年人的印象中就只有文化馆牌匾下那些醒目的商业设施了。这实在是文化馆的悲哀。
