On the Empress, the story can be a lot of handed down, her extravagant extravagance, her fatigued incompetence, her clever work, her greed and tyranny are the most talked about film and television drama theme. As a ruler, Cixi monopolized the territory as a leader, and enjoyed the dictatorship of the CCP. As a woman, she was a Beijing opera, good photographer and was interested in calligraphy and painting. During the reign of Empress Dowager Cixi, in order to cater for her one-man’s enjoyment, Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Factory burned some of her special varieties in accordance with the newly proclaimed official version of the Nei Fu Government, including ceremonies for ceremonies, elegant porcelain for literary houses, and a large amount of daily porcelain. Are all designed and manufactured with her preferences and mouthpieces, so I can especially reflect her personal aesthetic taste and artistic pursuit. Now, with the exhibition “The Palace Museum of the Forbidden City: The Cixi’s Porcelain” by the Capital Museum, we can experience and appreciate the Empress’s life beyond these impressions through the exquisite porcelain that has once and for all been in contact with the Empress.
