Foreword Modern high performance fighter, with sustained high Gz and fast growth rates. This G load now exceeds human physiological G tolerance, and acceleration-induced loss of consciousness (G-LOC) is a real danger in today’s real-world flight. In fact, although the projected incidence will be high, only one F-16A flight accident by the Turkish Air Force so far has been caused by G-LOC.
