自从党中央发出了“关于各級領导人員参加体力劳动的指示”和国家提出“千方百計爭取农业大丰收”的号召以后,近兩三个月来,全省各地很多小学的教师,也紛紛响应党的号召,在农村中紧張进行夏收夏种的季节里,利用学校放忙假,星期日、工会、团的活动时間,以及平常的业余时間,有組織地参加了当地农业社的各种田間劳动。通过劳动,不但在一定程度上帮助农业社解决了在农忙季节劳动力不足的困难,适时地支援了农业生产;更重要的是,广大教师进一步認識了农业合作化的优越性,并且在劳动中培养了自己热爱劳动、尊敬劳动人民的思想情感,增进了教师与农民彼此間的了解与友誼,改善了校群关系。 Since the party Central Committee issued the “Directives on the Participation of Physical Workers at All Levels in Physical Work” and the country’s call for “doing everything possible to win the bumper harvest in agriculture,” teachers in many primary schools across the province have responded in the past two or three months.
