吕景蒙于明嘉靖前期任职于颍州,其职司虽重在风宪且任职时间不长,但在明代中后期乃至清代颍州的人文教化史中贡献卓著,影响深远,被列为颍州名宦。他最具影响力的人文教化举措是修缮了西湖书院、兴建了三忠六贞祠、纂修了颍州地方志,这些人文教化措施功在当时,誉流后世,不仅提升了颍州人文生态的品质,而且使颍州在一个较长的时期内延续了这一人文生态的高位品质。 Lv Jingmeng worked in Yingzhou in the early days of Ming Jiajing.
