近年来,采样速率介于10KHz~2MHz之间的通用类12位单片ADC,在性能不断提高的同时,价格亦有明显降低。据统计,仅在最近两年内;100KHz器件的价格便已下降了1/2~2/3。另一方面。较新的器件多能以5V单电源工作,降低器件功耗的努力亦颇见成效。简言之,按照目前的发展趋势以12位ADC作为现行8位器件的升级换代产品,似将成为顺理成章之举。本文将从结构类型、制造工艺、技术特性、辅助功能与具体应用等方面,对此类器件作一简要的介绍。
In recent years, general-purpose 12-bit single-chip ADCs with sampling rates between 10KHz and 2MHz have been significantly lowered in performance while being continuously improved in performance. According to statistics, in the last two years, the price of 100KHz devices has dropped by 1/2 ~ 2/3. on the other hand. Newer devices are more capable of operating from a single 5V supply and efforts to reduce device power consumption have also yielded some success. This article will be a brief introduction of such devices from the structure type, manufacturing process, technical characteristics, auxiliary functions and specific applications.
