A British university study shows that chewing gum helps memory. In contrast, chewing gums outweigh chewing gum in memory tests. Researchers believe chewing gum as chewing gums accelerates heart movement and increases the amount of blood that the heart supplies to the head, boosting brain activity and improving people’s thinking skills. At the same time, chewing stimulates the secretion of saliva, while the area of the brain responsible for the salivation is closely linked to memory and learning. Japanese researchers also found that chewing stimulates the brain’s memory section. Cerebral hippocampal cells, that is, the part of tube learning, will decline with age, short-term memory will decline, and chewing movements will inhibit this process.
