成人教育招生规模的不断扩大,使得各个院校招收的成教学生相当一部分基础相对较差,他们的外语基础较差,而且学生本身又存在不同程度的自卑、缺乏自信等现象,这些使得成教专科学生学好英语形成障碍。另外成教专科学生一大部分是为了文凭、证书的学习目的和动机而来,导致学生缺乏学好外语的积极性和主动性,教师也普遍感到外语难教,严重影响了教学质量的提高。如何提高成教专科学生教学质量,成为教学中亟待解决的问题。
