约翰·巴斯的长篇小说《卡美拉》以重写神话为题,讨论后现代小说的神话品性和历史情结。本文把《卡美拉》放在20世纪神话史学的论题下,结合现代性与后现代性的讨论,指出《卡美拉》的命题关涉神话解读与历史书写的双向悖论,其对神话理论的反思和对神话文本的政治性解读体现了巴斯的美学思想和神话史观。
John Bath’s novel “Cameramella” rewrites the myth as a topic to discuss the mythological character and historical complex of postmodern novel. This article puts “Camelra” under the theme of 20th century mythological history and combines the discussions of modernity and postmodernity. It points out that the proposition of Camelid relates to the two-way paradox of myth interpretation and history writing, The reflection and the political interpretation of the mythical text embody Bath’s aesthetic ideas and mythological history.
