自1851年水晶宫博览会诞生伊始,以博览会为主要代表的早期会展活动,一度成为了推动设计史发展变革的催他剂和见证者。而西方的博览会热潮亦蔓延到近代中国,1910年南洋劝业会作为洋务运动后期第一次全国性的博览会,其产生的影响无疑是广泛而又深刻的。它不仅是推动近代中国社会转型的中坚力量,更是中国近代设计转型期的直接见证者。
Since the birth of the Crystal Palace Expo in 1851, the early exhibitions mainly represented by the Expo have become the catalyst and witness to promote the development of design history. The Western exposition boom also spread to modern China, 1910 Nanyang Quanye Association as the first Western National Movement in late National Expo, its impact is undoubtedly extensive and profound. It is not only the backbone for promoting the social transformation in modern China, but also the direct witness to the transformation of China’s modern design.
