饮料是指以水为基本原料,由不同的配方和制造工艺生产出来,供人们直接饮用的液体食品。饮料除提供水分外,由于在不同品种的饮料中含有不等量的糖、酸、乳以及各种氨基酸、维生素、无机盐等营养成分,因此有一定的营养价值。按原料或产品性状不同,可将饮料分为11个大类,包括碳酸饮料(汽水)类、果汁和蔬菜汁类、蛋白饮料类、包装饮用水类、茶饮料类、咖啡饮料类、植物饮料类、风味饮料类、特殊用途饮料类、固体饮料类及其他饮料类。
