Let us first take the national volume I and Jiangsu volume as an example to look at the changes in the proportion of non-choice questions in Chinese in college entrance examinations over the past 11 years. The volume of non-choice questions scores in the National Vol. I Examination Paper increased from 57.33% in 2001 to 69.33% in 2004. It remained at 80% from 2005 to 2011. The volume of Jiangsu’s first proposition from 2004 was 69.33%. It rose to 90.63% in 2011. The proportion of non-choice questions has increased to implement the diversified evaluation concepts advocated by the new curriculum standards, which reflects the openness of Chinese language teaching.
