安达新产业公司,在大阪大学产业科学研究所的协助下,研究出在平均颗粒直径为3μm的金刚石颗粒表面有控地凝聚金属钯的技术。该技术是,在液体酒精中放入金刚石颗粒和氯化钯,然后,从外边用氙灯照射进行光催化反应。如果配合化学镀镍,可以提高用树脂粘合法制造的金刚石刀具的性能和降低成本。该技术有可能发展为在陶瓷微小颗粒上用凝聚方法自由地形成贵重金属薄膜的新技术,也可以用于新功能仪器的开发上。
With the assistance of the Institute of Industrial Science at Osaka University, Anda New Industries Co., Ltd. has developed a technique for the controlled coagulation of metallic palladium on the surface of diamond particles having an average particle diameter of 3 μm. This technique involves placing diamond particles and palladium chloride in liquid alcohol and then photocatalytically reacting with a xenon lamp from the outside. If combined with electroless nickel plating, the performance of diamond cutters made with the resin bonding method can be improved and the cost can be reduced. The technology is likely to evolve as a new technology for the free-form formation of precious metal thin films on ceramic fine particles by coacervation, as well as for the development of new functional instruments.
