语文教学就是教学生熟练使用一套充分社会化的表达工具去表达充分个体化的思想感情,其中心任务是让学生摆脱语言形式上的羁绊;语言的内容教不了,也不用教。语文课程标准上设定的三大教学目标,按语言教学的本质属性来理解,“知识与技能”应该是关于语言学习及语言应用的知识与技能,“过程与方法”应该是语言学习和语言应用的过程与方法,“情感、态度与价值观”应该是学生对语言、语言学习和语言应用的情感、态度和价值观。
